We always look forward to our annual trips to Las Vegas for the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) Convention. This year’s convention was held at the Rio Hotel, December 6-9.

While Las Vegas IS a great place to visit, and offers such a variety of entertainment options, the BEST part of this trip isn’t the location at all. Catching up with old friends, making new ones, and enjoying the camaraderie that exists among all of us in this niche industry…. this is what it’s really all about.  The energy is electrifying, and  we always come away with new ideas and exciting opportunities. This year was the best ever!

This year we were pleased to secure a very special piece of aviation art for our Free Raffle at our booth on the convention floor.  Steven Greenwald Galleries of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, donated this beautiful painting by Frank Martin. It’s called T-6 #2, and you can find it, and the rest of this fabulous collection, on the gallery website.  Our good friend Jacquie Warda, of Jacquie B Airshows, drew the winning ticket, and the prize went to Luke Carrico. Luke is an air show announcer that we’ve had the privilege of working with in the past. Luke was attending ICAS for the very first time. He said he was thrilled to have this great piece to take home as a souvenir for his office wall.
