The Durango-La Plata County Airport is hosting an Aviation Celebration on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Headlining the event with be the US Army Golden Knights Jump Team.  The Aviation Celebration is a free community event.  The public is invited to view and learn about numerous military, private, and emergency aircraft.

In addition to getting an up close look at a wide variety of aircraft, the event will also include an opportunity to tour airport fire & rescue equipment, Durango Fire Protection District equipment, and airport snow removal equipment. Live musical performances will be provided!
